Brian Head has several lift pass options including day lift tickets and Season Passes. Below is a breakdown of the lift passes and the key differences between the passes.
Full Day or Night Lift Ticket
Below is the difference between the Brian Head Resort full-day and night lift tickets.
- Full-day tickets give you access to the mountain from 10 AM to 4 PM on weekdays and 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on weekends and holidays. The full-day lift ticket can be purchased in advance online at a discounted rate starting from $29 per day for selected dates.
- Night skiing tickets give you access to Blackfoot Lift for night skiing. In the winter season, night skiing is available on Fridays and Saturday nights from 4 pm to 9 pm and 7 days during the holiday season. Price starts from $25 on selected dates.
Power Pass
The Power Pass comes with 3 different pass choices and different restrictions: Power Pass, Power Pass Select and 4-Day Power Pass. The pass price for adults (37-64) ranges from $599 - $849.
- The Power Pass gives you access to unlimited skiing throughout the ski season at 9 ski resorts: Brian Head, Lee Canyon, Nordic Valley, Snowbowl, Purgatory, Hesperus, Sipapu, Pajarito, and Willamette Pass. The Power Pass also includes 7 days at Valle Nevado and 3 days at partner resorts.
- The Power Pass Select gives you access to 6 resorts throughout the ski season and 12 share days with holiday blackout dates at Lee Canyon, Purgatory, and Snowbowl. The Power Pass also includes 7 days at Valle Nevado and 3 days at Monarch Mountain & Sundance Resort.
- The 4-Day Power Pass gives you a total of 4 restricted days to Brian Head, Lee Canyon, Snowbowl, Purgatory, and Spider Mountain and unlimited access at Sipapu, Pajarito & Hesperus and restricted skiing at Nordic Valley and Willamette Pass. The Power Pass also includes 3 days at Monarch Mountain.
Children 12 and under can register for the free Power Kids season pass and Senior ages over 75 can also get a Super Senior Pass for free.

- My Weekday Pass: The My Weekday Pass offers unlimited access on Mondays to Fridays at Brian Head Resort throughout the ski season, except on blackout dates.
- Value Pass: The Value Pass gives you unlimited access to skiing at Brian Head Resort except for blackout dates.
- Night Season Pass: The Night Season Pass gives you unlimited access to Brian Head Resort during night skiing operating hours only throughout the ski season.
Brian Head Ski and Snowboard Lessons
Brian Head Ski and Snowboard School offer group and private lessons as well as longer learning programs for all ability levels.
- Group Lesson: This is a half-day (AM or PM) 2.5 hours beginner to intermediate lesson for ages 7 and above.
- Private Lesson: This is a fully tailored half-day or full-day lesson for ages 7 and above.
- First Tracks: This is a full-day or half-day one-on-one private lesson. It is suitable for beginners and intermediate for skiers ages 3 to 4 and snowboarders ages 3 to 6.
- Mountain Explorers: This is a full-day or half-day group lesson for beginners and intermediate ages 7 to 12.
The Sports School check-in is located outside, on the right side of the Navajo Lodge when facing the main entrance.
Nearest Town to Brian Head Resort
The closest town to Brian Head Resort is Parowan, Utah, which is approximately 12 miles to the west. It's a small town with basic services and amenities.
A larger nearby city is Cedar City, Utah, which is about 32 miles to the southwest of Brian Head. Cedar City offers more services, including a wider variety of dining and lodging options. Brian Head Express Shuttle offers daily transportation from Cedar City to Brian Head Resort. Cedar City is not close to any other ski resort in Utah, with the closest one roughly 223 miles away at Sundance Resort.
