Wolf Creek Ski Area Lift Tickets

Wolf Creek offers two types of lift tickets: day lift tickets and season passes. Seniors ages 80 and above can ski for free. Below highlights the differences between the lift tickets types.

Day Lift Ticket

Wolf Creek Day Tickets are available for purchase online and in-resort during the ski season. When lift tickets are purchased online, your will need to show your ID and card used to purchase the tickets to pick up your lift tickets. The day tickets are affordable and cost around $85-95 for a 1-day adult ticket. You can also purchase half-day lift tickets at a slightly lower cost.

Season Pass

Wolf Creek has two types of season passes: Peak Advantage and Supersaver. They can be purchased pre-season at a lower cost. You can also purchase the passes at the discounted price as a family. Below are the differences between the two passes.

  • Peak Advantage Passes gives unlimited access to Wolf Creek without blackout dates. It costs around $998-$1,247 for an adult(13+) pass (subject to change). 
  • Supersaver Passes gives unlimited access to Wolf Creek except on the 44 blackout dates throughout the ski season. It costs around $749-$936 for an adult pass (subject to change).

Wolf Creek Ski and Snowboard Lessons

Wolf Creek Ski and Snowboard School offer group lessons, private lessons, specialized clinics, and programs.

  • Group Children Lessons (Age 5-8): The lesson can be full or half-day. The lesson includes access to the Nova lift, private restrooms, and lunch (full-day only).
  • Group Children Lessons (Age 9-12): There is the option of a half-day beginner package or full/half-day lessons for non-first-time skiers and snowboarders.
  • Group Lessons (Age 13+): There is a choice of a half-day beginner package (includes access to either Lynx or Nova Lift) or half day learn to turn package (includes access to 5 lifts).
  • Private Lessons: These lessons can be 1-on-1 lessons (1 hour) or in a group of 2 to 5 people (3-5 hours). The lesson does not include lift tickets and rentals. Private lessons must be booked by calling 970-264-5835.
  • Specialized Clinics and Programs: This option is for those who are interested in a lesson and lift ticket deal, which is available on specific dates. There is also a 4-week children's program, Camp Robbers, to help develop existing skills.

Nearest Town to Wolf Creek Ski Area

Wolf Creek Ski Area is located about 23 miles west of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, which is roughly 217 miles drive away from Albuquerque International Sunport. Pagosa Springs is known for its hot springs, including having one of the world’s deepest geothermal hot springs, making it the perfect place to rest and recover after a day at the slopes. The ski town is 71 miles drive to Hesperus Ski Area and 86 miles drive to Purgatory Resort.
