Powderhorn Mountain Resort Lift Tickets

Powderhorn Mountain offers day lift tickets and season passes. A reusable RFID card is required and costs an additional $5 on top of the lift ticket price. 

Day Lift Ticket

Powderhorn day lift tickets can be purchased in advance online (for a discounted price) or in-resort. There is an option of full-day, half-day, or beginner lift-only day tickets. The quantity of day tickets may be limited on busy days to ensure a quality mountain experience, so it is recommended to purchase the ticket early.

Season Pass

With the Powderhorn Season Pass, you can enjoy unlimited access to Powderhorn throughout the winter season. The pass also provides additional benefits and some access at Powderhorn’s Partner and Sister Resorts including 3 days at Loveland Ski Area and 3 days at Ski Cooper. The pass price is around $399-$699 (2023-24) for Adults ages 13-74 (prices are subject to change).

Powderhorn Ski and Snowboard School offers a diverse range of private or group lessons, as well as special programs specifically designed for kids.

  • Children's Learning Center is tailored for children between the ages of 3 and 8, providing a terrain-based learning environment. Furthermore, they offer discounted rates on equipment rentals and lift tickets exclusively for kids.
  • Bob Beverly Free Learn To Ski or Ride program is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who have never skied or snowboarded before. Participants, aged 8 and above, can enjoy up to three days of free rentals, lift tickets, and group lessons in a single discipline.
  • Powderhorn's Lessons & Bundles accommodate individuals of all ages and skill levels, catering to first-timers and seasoned skiers seeking a refresher. These lessons also include discounted rates on equipment rentals and lift tickets.
  • Powderhorn's Multi-Week Programs are designed for kids and offer options such as Powdersprouts, Powdercats, and the All-Mountain Freeride Team. Participants can choose between Saturday and Sunday series.

Nearest Town to Powderhorn Mountain Resort

Powderhorn Mountain Resort is located just 28 miles from the town of Palisade and 8 miles drive from the small town of Mesa. Although Mesa serves as a gateway to Powderhorn, it is very small with only a few restaurants, a rental shop and two lodging options in town. In comparison, Palisade offers a lot more dining and lodging options as well as being home to many wineries. From both these towns, you can also access Sunlight Mountain Resort within approximately 1.5-2 hour drive.
